I love photographing families in the bluebonnets!  This one  just happens to be a favorite of mine!  Here’s the sneak peek! 

The Bluebonnet sessions went great!  I will be posting a few of them throughout the week. I thought I would start them off with the Harris kiddos! In  rare form…ALL kids were in great moods and ready to go!  I might have to use this for the Christmas cards this year! 

Okay, FINALLY we have bluebonnets!  I am so excited to be able to offer the much awaited bluebonnet sessions!  Thanks to all the rain we should have beautiful full blooms this year!  At the moment I am working on locations- the land I used a few years back now has a shopping center on it - I know …SHOCKING!!!  So, if anyone knows of a great location, email me (laura@lauraharrisphotography.com) and if we can use it,your session fee will be waved!  So here is the 411 on the sessions:

 Traveled to Forney to photograph this little guy and his Moma and we had a blast!  Cannot wait to get through proofing these, they are all so gorgeous!  Here is a couple that I love…

I was asked to photograph an engagement session very close to my heart!  My sister-in-law, whom I met when she was 14,  has grown up and  found the love of her life!   I know their upcoming wedding will be as gorgeous as they are!  I cannot wait to see their beautiful day unfold!  Congrats Katy and Ryan- a whole new world is waiting to begin!

I had the opportunity to photograph a charity event at Methodist Hospital today.  Ricos donated 2 gaming centers to the Pediatric Oncology department on portable carts.  Many of the children in this area are room bound and get bored after weeks/months of confinment.  We got to meet a very sweet 7 year old who loved playing te games and although she will be traveling to MD Anderson this coming week, she knows that there will be games to play when she gets back.  A special thanks to Variety for a wonderful charity organization.  I encourage everyone to visit the site to learn more.  Once again, thanks to Ricos for the gaming systems, I know they will make their days a little more enjoyable!

Okay, I know it has been FOREVER since I last posted!  The holidays were packed -thank you to all my wonderful clients!  I have taken most of January off to spend time with family but now I AM BACK!!!!  And to start things off right there are several incentive opportunities in the works.  Introducing the first - for newborns …
